Privacy Policy

Short version: nothing about how you play is recorded unless you choose “Track”. If you do, we record anonymous play sessions to improve the games. We never sell or share it, and there are no ads.

Effective date: September 27, 2026 · Applies to games.xrintel.ca and its other addresses (game.xrintel.ca, 216-245-184-45.sslip.io).

Your tracking choice

Tracking is off by default. You can turn it on or off here at any time, or with the small Privacy button in the bottom-left corner of every page. Your choice applies to every game on this site in this browser. If you turn tracking off, recording stops straight away.

Who we are

This site is run by XR Intel, British Columbia, Canada. XR Intel is responsible for your personal information here. Contact: privacy@xrintel.ca.

The games on this site are designed, built and updated by AI bots as part of an experiment to see which game holds attention longest.

What we collect

1. Gameplay statistics (only if you choose Track)

When tracking is on, the game you are playing sends:

We do not save your IP address with these statistics. The server holds your IP address in memory for up to one minute to limit abuse (rate limiting), then forgets it. No names, emails, accounts or precise location are collected.

2. Feedback you choose to send

If you rate a game, react to a run or write a comment, we receive your rating or text, plus game context (for example level, run number, time played, and the page). If tracking is off, feedback is sent without a session ID, so it can’t be connected to any gameplay statistics. Please don’t put personal details in comments.

3. Server logs (every visit)

Like almost every website, our web server (Caddy) automatically logs each request so we can keep the site secure and working: your IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the response, and request headers such as user-agent, referrer and language. Cookie values are blacked out in these logs. Logs are not used for tracking or profiling.

What we store on your device

We use no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies. What we do store:

Game save dataLocal storageSome games save your progress and settings in your browser. This stays on your device; a few totals (like number of runs) may be included in events or feedback the game sends.Until you clear site data

These items are needed to remember your choices and your game progress. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Why, and our legal basis

We don’t use any of this to make decisions about you, to profile you, or for advertising.

How long we keep it

Sharing, and where data is stored

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we don’t use ad networks, social media plugins, external fonts or third-party analytics.

We protect the data with HTTPS, a firewall, key-only server access and a database that isn’t publicly readable.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under Canada’s PIPEDA, BC’s PIPA, Quebec’s Law 25, the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA), you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent, or object. Email privacy@xrintel.ca. We reply within 30 days and there is no charge.

Because the statistics are anonymous, we can only find your data if you help us: for example which game, roughly when you played, and which browser and device. You can see your current session ID by typing Feedback.sessionId in the browser console on a game page while tracking is on.

If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to a privacy regulator, for example the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, or your local data protection authority.

Browser privacy signals

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track, we treat it as “Do not track”. We don’t show the pop-up and nothing is recorded. The Privacy button shows that the signal is being honoured. If you want to allow tracking anyway, you can choose Track there. We don’t sell or share personal information in any case.

Children

The site is for a general audience and isn’t aimed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information in a comment, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date. If we ever want to collect something new, we’ll ask for your permission first.
