About the game
You are a glowing wisp in an enchanted night forest, and your only weapon is the thread of light you leave behind. Cross your own trail to close a loop and bind every shadow inside it. Bigger loops holding more shadows score Weave combos, but your thread has a limited length, some shadows cut it, and touching them hurts.
Each run is a journey across a branching three-act night map: short glade encounters, shrines, springs, a lantern merchant, strange events, elite glades and a shadow lord at the end of every act. Light seeds you bring home grow a Grove that unlocks new charms, wisps and forests. Losing early is part of the fun, and every run grows something.
Features
- Encircle to attack. Close loops of light to bind shadows and chain Weave combos.
- Branching night map. Three acts of glades, shrines, springs, merchants, events and elites.
- Three shadow lords. The Owl of Shadows, the Briar Matron and the Hollow King, encircled in phases.
- 18 charms. Levels and synergies: thread length, wide weave, ember thread, echo loops, lantern kin…
- A Grove that grows. Spend light seeds on perks, new wisps with different threads, and new forests.
- Eight kinds of shadow. Darters, knots, husks, wraiths that split, snippers that cut your thread, moth swarms…
Controls
🖱️ Desktop
The wisp follows your mouse (or WASD / arrows). Cross your trail to close a loop. Space / right-click: Snap the loop shut. Shift / E: Flare. Esc: pause, M: mute.
👆 Touch
Drag a finger to steer (the wisp floats just above it). Second finger or the ⚡ button: Snap. 🔆 button: Flare.
🎮 Gamepad
Left stick: move. A / RT: Snap. B / X / LT: Flare. Start: pause. Stick + A to pick charms and paths.
🥽 Quest
No WebXR mode yet: it plays in the Meta Quest browser as a flat window. Point with the controller to steer, trigger to click, ⚡ button to Snap.
